I don't know if its global warming or just luck but the weather thus far has been exceptional( knock on wood). Everyday has been above 25 and today reached 29.
We started our day by hiking up to the Fisherman's Bastion. The views of the city were breathtaking. There were violinists serenading the spectators and picture perfect views at every angle of the castle. We made our way down to the cities largest covered food market and over to the city centre where we enjoyed a big bowl of Hungarian Goulash soup. Every corner was filled with street entertainers from trumpets players to soccer ball jugglers. We waited for the sun to set to catch the lights of the Parliament buildings, Chain Bridge and Buda Castle.
When we arrived back to our tent we met up with fellow Canadians and Australians and shared a bottle of Romanian alcohol..Rakia; with one sip we were feeling buzzed.
We are spending one more day in Budapest as we didn't quite see everything today. The sun in shining and it looks like it is going to be another beautiful day in Hungary.

I would love to be at the market. Were you able to find some fruit?? Your campground is awesome. Have a fun day in the hot pools today. Nothing but rain and more rain in the Okanagan. I bought my first pair of rubber boots.
